The City of Oxnard’s Housing Department is seeking a Homeless Assistance Program Associate who is highly motivated to work in homeless services and who recognizes housing as the solution to homelessness. This position includes direct engagement with homeless individuals and families, maintaining an inventory of community resources available, and engagement with external service providers. The Homeless Assistance Program Associate provides both direct assistance and clerical functions related to supporting individuals on a path from homelessness to housing – including assistance accessing tenant-based rental assistance and other permanent housing options.
